WE MADE SOME NEW FRIENDS

It's been three months since we moved back to Fayetteville. I finally made it to a playgroup today. We had a great time. We met up with other moms and toddlers at the children's museum. It's a lot of fun for kids because they have the pretend fire station, police car, grocery store, post office, newspaper stand, courtroom, doctor's office, dentist, etc...

They also have this special room for smaller toddlers where they can romp around and play with the mini kitchen set and push toys. It's so neat. The best part is it's free on Wednesdays. So, we'll visit often.

It was really good to meet some other moms. They do a lot of neat stuff that we'll have to check out. Why did I leave feeling as if my David was the busiest toddler out of the whole group. Most of the other kids just kind of quietly played. A few of the kids were really shy, but David was all over the place. At least it wore him out. He went to bed a little earlier tonight which meant a little r&r for me. :)
